Five Year 10 students took part into the Make Your Mark Challenge 2009 and out of 100 schools our group qualified for the Regional Finals!  The team, consisting of James Fryett, Gemma Sowerby, Josh Fick, Nick Williams and Rebecca Walker, pitched their ‘Chic Boutique/ Stockton Chic Week’ enterprise idea to a panel of local business people as part of the ‘Don’t be a Carbon Copy’ brief.  Students were asked to come up with an innovative business idea which had a local and green focus.  Although gaining the 2nd place spot, the judges were so impressed with the team’s pitch that they have offered to help support the development of their ideas.  Watch this space!
