Ian Ramsey strives to encourage an awareness of others less fortunate than ourselves. This enhances our ethos and consolidates our position as a caring school.

Ian Ramsey also offers pupils opportunities and the environment in which to achieve.

Our developing link with Lesotho helps to compliment and enhance our ethos.

We are developing the link in three ways:

1. We are at present in the early stages of developing a link with a High School called Boqate High near the capital. This link will be on an equal footing as we share good practice. We will also look to set up curriculum projects across subjects.
2. Our fundraising will continue to support the work of the Diocese link in Lesotho. Enhancing the lives and prospects of Basotho people.
3. We are going to fund raise to support an orphanage. Lesotho has around 150.000 orphans, many through HIV/aids, in a population of 2 million.
