Ian Ramsey School has for a second year entered the First Lego League Competition. The First Lego League is a worldwide competition with the regional finals being held on Saturday 5th December 2009 at the University of Teesside in Middlesbrough, if we progress we will move on to national finals and then world finals in the USA.

The team, made up of year 8 and year 9 pupils, have to program a robot to complete a number of tasks set by the organisers to gain points. This year’s theme is transportation and the pupils also have to complete a project with that in mind.

On the competition day the team will present their project, have an interview on how they worked as a team, a technical interview and finally show what our robot (Bobby) can do.
