Geography

Geography promotes a curiosity about the world and the people within it for all learners. We believe that, if you truly want to change the world, you must understand it. Geography is, by nature, an investigative subject, which develops an understanding of concepts, knowledge and skills. We promote young people’s interest and understanding of diverse places, people, resources and both natural and human environments together with a deep understanding of the Earth’s key physical and human processes. Pupils will become global citizens and agents of change who are inquisitive and informed and who can make sense of a complex and ever-changing world. The curriculum enables learners to be confident, understand and ask questions about the world around them: locally, regionally and internationally.
